Présentation
Initially led by the Hauts-de-Seine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), a Sustainable Urban Logistics Cluster was established as part of the 2012 call for projects, "Emergence and Development of Economic Clusters in Greater Paris," launched by the Ile-de-France Regional Directorate for Labor, Employment and Vocational Training (DIRECCTE), which funded the project until February 2015. The cluster's mission was to experiment with and develop new solutions for transporting goods to the center of Paris. The approach, focused on experimentation, was intended to result in concrete, local actions that would create value for businesses. As the cluster's scope of action extended beyond the Hauts-de-Seine department and the funding was expiring, the departmental chamber of commerce ended its support for the project at the end of February 2015.
Convinced by two innovation awards and two labels in competitiveness cluster, the historical actors and members of the cluster regrouped in an association “Law 1901” in order to ensure the continuation of the projects on a regional scale.
